I am currently a Senior contracts manager at a tech company. The job is very easy going, stable and very good pay, I basically run the entire legal department. I recently interviewed for an Associate Counsel position (same exact pay) and I got the job, but I am not sure if I want to leave my current job since its very laid back and no one really tells me what to do. I am kind of anxious and scared going to the Associate Counsel position because I have never had any experience working as an actual attorney other than drafting and negotiating contract plus legal research.
