Arizona will administer the NextGen UBE starting July 2027. NextGen score transfers are accepted at 620 effective with the July 2026 administration of NextGen in other jurisdictions.

Score acceptance: accepts NextGen UBE transferred scores at 620 (interim, until further Order of the Arizona Supreme Court).

Cut and MPRE

Arizona cut score: 270 (400 scale). MPRE minimum: 85.

Fee schedule

AZ Committee on Examinations fees for 2026: $680 first-time bar exam fee (non-attorney), plus Character & Fitness fee. February 2026: August 1, 2025 (opens) - November 1, 2025 (final). July 2026: January 1, 2026 (opens) - April 1, 2026 (final).
